Everybody Loves a Happy Ending

Call me mellow but it’s my favorite album from Tears For Fears and it’s released on September 14, 2004 …

Toxicity

One of the more interesting, diverse and controversial albums of the new century was released on September 4, 2001 — System Of A Down’s Toxicity.

Up is down; left is right. The album features folk, nu metal, banjos and sitars and at first appears all over the place. But it really is a snapshot microcosm of what’s going on in the world in 2001. As each year goes by the album actually becomes more important and that’s rare. It’s a masterpiece that’s never finished.

Plans

Death Cab For Cutie release their 5th album on August 30, 2005. It becomes what’s now known as an “instant indie classic.”  It spawns 3 singles, a couple of Grammy nominations and a song that, though one of the darkest and most depressing songs around, shines like a literary classic. (I Will Follow You Into the Dark.)
