Editorial: Robin Vos and Scott Fitzgerald are contemptible liars

It was evident to any honest observer that the company’s promise to develop a manufacturing plant in southeastern Wisconsin that would ultimately employ as many as 13,000 workers represented an absurd and unobtainable promise by a foreign corporation that wanted to get on the good side of Donald Trump before the president started imposing tariffs.

Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, left, and Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald could have made the flawed Foxconn deal better, but they failed to do so. Vos won’t release $850,000 contract with law firm in redistricting case

Keep smiling, Popcorn Boy … you’re time is coming.

Speaker Robin Vos won’t make public a legal contract that could cost taxpayers as much as $850,000 despite a law ensuring records are widely available.

“They should just release the record. I mean, it’s clearly a public record and it should be automatic,” said Orville Seymer, field operations director of the conservative Citizens for Responsible Government and a member of the Wisconsin Freedom of Information Council’s board.

Kimberly-Clark and America’s Dairyland

This is good. Mr. Harwood pretty much nails it right down to calling out the legislature for ignoring small farmers because they represent basically 20,000 votes and even less in campaign money.

Our legislature ignores this problem because we are talking about maybe 20,000 votes and very little in the way of campaign contributions, most of which comes from the corporate farms anyway.
