Paranoid was released on January 7, 1971 and as a 14 year-old, I remember clearly saying to myself during the first 30 seconds of that maiden listen; “What the hell is going on here?”

49 years later, I find myself saying the same thing — only it’s not the music. Some lyrics never get old.
