More cowbell — Blue Oyster Cult Sign Deal for New Album

Blue Oyster Cult announced they’ve signed a deal with Frontiers Music Srl for the release of a new studio album in 2020, with half of the songs already written. The as-yet-untitled LP will be their first since 2001’s Curse of the Hidden Mirror , and will mark the first time that the current lineup of Buck Dharma, Eric Bloom, Richie Castellano, Danny Miranda and Jules Radino have worked together on a studio project. “It’s been a long time since BOC’s last studio album,” Bloom said in a statement. “Our biggest question from fans is, ‘When are we going to do some new music?’ So we are ready to take this journey again.
