The Godmother of Punk releases her debut album on December 13, 1975.

It’s #44 on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and was  preserved by the Library of Congress into the National Recording Registry for being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant in 2006.

Television release their debut album on February 8, 1977. The album has been hailed by many to be one of the greatest albums of all time because of its influence on rock at the time. John Aizlewood from Q magazine put it best back in 2003:

“It changed the face of American music and thus music worldwide. It has touched grunge, nu-metal, punk, art-punk, pop, Radiohead and a thousand other genres where white men play guitars. Listen to the radio–Marquee Moon is everywhere.”
