After touring with Crazy Horse to support Ragged Glory (with opening act Sonic Youth) in ’90 abd ’91, Shakey had to escape to his California ranch to rest his ears. Literally — he was battling a case of hyperacusis, which often leads to tinnitus.
Waiting for the malady to subside was hard and The Godfather of Grunge decided to make a sort-of follow-up to the classic Harvest. Harvest Moon is released on November 2, 1992. Most of the old crew show up to help including Nicolette Larson, James Taylor and — of course — Linda Ronstadt.
