The Quiet One becomes the first Beatle to release a solo album on November 1, 1968. It’s also the first album to be released their Apple record label. Technically, it’s the soundtrack to the movie Wonderwall.
Eric Clapton and Ringo appear on the album made up of mostly instrumentals with some spoken English thrown in there every now and then. And — yes — the album’s title did indeed inspire the 1995 Oasis hit, Wonderwall.
