We believe the choice is clear. We can continue to allow the coronavirus to spread rapidly throughout the country or we can commit to a more restrictive lockdown, state by state, for up to six weeks to crush the spread of the virus to less than one new case per 100,000 people per day.
Great idea shared by many way smarter than us. But it’ll never happen.
One, we have too many selfish Americans who can’t be bothered or have some other bullshit thought on “individual rights.” Here’s the thing, Bubba: the Founding Fathers were all about “we” not “me.”
And, two: we have no leadership. That outfit in the White House is a clown show at best so forget that. And, here in Wisco, an already weak Governor is neutered further by Republican leadership hiding behind “individual rights” when all they’re really concerned with is power.
But there’s another way out of this mess: vote.
Vote like your life depends on it.
